Photo Booth Hire Perth: What to Know Before Booking
The questions worth asking before you book a photo booth in Perth, from attendants and travel fees to space, power and how far ahead to lock in your date.
Ask whether an attendant is included
This is the question that separates suppliers. An unattended booth sits empty for the first hour of almost every event — people walk past it because nobody has started.
An attendant hands out props, gets the first brave group in, keeps the queue moving and makes sure the guests hovering at the edge end up in a photo. Ours comes with the print, glam and 360 booths at no extra cost. The digital booth is built to run on its own, which is part of why it costs less — and you can add an attendant to it for $49 an hour if you want one.
Check when setup happens
Setup and pack-down should sit outside your hire hours. We arrive 45 to 60 minutes early so the booth is running the moment your event starts. If a supplier counts setup as part of your two hours, you are buying 75 minutes.
Confirm the space and power you need
All of our booths need roughly 3m x 3m, which covers the setup and room for guests to gather. They all run from one standard power point.
For outdoor events, ask about battery hire and shelter. Battery hire is $100 for three hours and the gazebo is $80. A booth with nowhere to plug in is an expensive ornament.
Book earlier than feels necessary
Saturdays from October to March go first in Perth, and December is the most contested month of the year. Six to eight weeks ahead is safest, and many wedding couples book as soon as they confirm a venue.
That said, always ask, we might be able to accommodate you with a last-minute booking.
Get it in writing
A written quote with the hire window, the booth, the inclusions and the total. A deposit that locks the date. An invoice you can actually check. If a supplier will only talk in DMs and will not put a number in writing, that tells you something.
