How Much Does a Photo Booth Cost in Perth?
What photo booth hire actually costs in Perth in 2026, what should be included in the price, and the extras that catch people out.
What you should expect to pay
Photo booth hire in Perth generally runs from about $250 at the budget end to well over $1,500 for a premium or 360 setup. That is a wide spread, and the difference is rarely the camera — it is what is bundled in and what gets charged separately.
Our own pricing sits at the affordable end deliberately: $299 for a 2-hour digital booth, $499 with unlimited prints, $799 for the glam DSLR booth and $998 for the 360 video booth. Extra hours are $100.
What should already be in the price
This is where quotes stop being comparable. Before you compare two numbers, check whether each one includes unlimited photos with no per-print charge, a backdrop, props, setup and pack-down outside your hire hours, a custom print template, travel to your venue, and whether an attendant is included or charged separately.
If any of those are extra, the headline price is not the price. A $250 booth with a $150 attendant fee and a $2 per-print charge is not cheaper than a $499 package with the attendant and unlimited prints already in it.

The costs that catch people out
Travel fees. Ask where the included zone ends. Ours covers 30km from Como, and beyond that it is $5 per kilometre with the return trip included — see the areas we cover. We quote it up front rather than adding it later.
Idle time. Some suppliers charge to have the booth switched off during speeches. Ask.
Setup time counted as hire time. If a supplier arrives at 6pm for a 6pm start, you have lost 45 minutes of a 2-hour booking.
Prints capped by number. "Unlimited" sometimes means unlimited sessions but capped prints. Ask for the actual number.
How to get the price down without losing much
The single biggest saving is dropping prints. The digital booth is the same booth, same camera and same photos as the print package — guests just get them on their phones instead of on paper. That is a $200 difference for something plenty of guests would not use anyway.
The second is hire length. Two hours genuinely suits most events. Three hours is worth it for a big guest count or when the booth is the main attraction, but paying for a fourth hour when the room empties at 10pm is money gone.
